Ore with 42yards and 2TDs in Chick-fila Bowl
Branden Ore ran for 42 yards and 2TDs in Virginia Tech's loss to Georgia (31-24) to finish up the season. He looked healthy, but as the stats show, didn't have many chances to show it.

A meltdown like this hasn't been seen out of the Hokies in quite a while. Oh, there have been meltdowns, but usually they start early and snowball throughout the game. You could have gotten long odds on the nation's best defense not being able to protect an 18-point halftime lead, but it happened. Georgia outscored the Hokies 28-3 in the second half, the Bulldogs won 31-24, and Tech's streak without back-to-back bowl wins continues.

Branden Ore was hot in the Orange Bowl, Also the defense was hot! Then I don't know what happened. The coaches kept switching Glennon and Taylor. Had Glennon throwing long when they know he is not ready for that, turning over the ball. The coaches gave that game away, not the players. But Branden Ore, boy you were on fire!! Keep making us Hokies proud.
