Ore is Gold

This week's Roth Report highlights 6 keys to success against Georgia Tech:
Hokies' tailback Branden Ore is not only getting 5.5 yards per rush, but over 25 yards per reception. Whether he's running the ball, or catching it on screens against blitzing defenses, Ore is the Hokies' key guy. He's averaging 6.9 yards every time he touches the ball. He rushed for 170 last week and leads the ACC in rushing at 99.8 yards per game.

Full Roth Report

This is clearly Branden Ore's breakout year. Things are progressing well. For continued success, VT needs to develop some additional offensive threats to allow Branden more oppurtunity.

Ore gains 64 yards, 1 TD on 15 carries against Duke

VT continues to hunt for a backup tailback to help out Branden Ore. Ore is so critical to the VT offense that he is now a marked man and his performance will suffer until VT can get some additional weapons.

That said, Branden Ore still eeked out 64 yds and a TD in the 36-0 win over Duke.
